Kavi Kwai is the solo alias of Julia Ringdahl, better knownas one part of Hey Elbow and Alice Boman band member. Equal parts ecstatic and organics, Kavi Kwai ́s compositions are centred around intimate and overlapping vocal arrangements interweaved into experimental soundscapes. For the Intonal performance, Julia has rearranged some of her works for three electric guitars and three female voices. With this live constellation she wishes to explore what happens with the music when she invites two musicians that expresses themselves through the same instruments as she does - electric guitar and voice.
