The enigmatic Berlin-based duo serve controlled chaos with an indestructible approach to rhythm machines and synthesizers, unpredictable patterns with carefully investigated electro structures, and dynamic Detroit-ish loops.
The latest project of Berlin musician and selector Frans Ambient (Kashual Plastik) and Dresden producer Jakob Stoy (Uncanny Valley), the duo released their debut album Zeichen Im Schacht Der Verschleierte Tatsachen on Elena Colombi’s Osàre! Editions label and have brought their improvised live shows to respected venues such as Golden Pudel (Hamburg), Garage Noord (Amsterdam), and Arkaoda (Berlin), as well as festivals such as Belgium’s Meakusma. They frequently collaborate with Kashual Plastik label-mate ML, another Berlin-based producer.
INKASSO deals intensively and futuristically with the sound aesthetics of post-punk, synth-wave, experimental electronica, noise, drone, and leftfield techno. In their shows, they use a variety of synthesizers, drum machines, sequencers and effects devices that are skillfully interconnected, and always provide a surprise at their concerts.
