Oda Haugerud, formerly known as Saatans Kvinna, is based in Malmö and has hosted a residency at Retreat Radio since 2018. Her background moves from sacral choir and Suzuki violin training into a terrain of riffs, distortion, and industrial electronics. These threads remain audible in her sets, where disciplined musicality meets a deliberate appetite for rupture.

She works with contrast in texture and density. Neo-classical chord progressions surface in broken form, folding into percussive fragments and coarse digital interference. Rhythms feel slightly misaligned, as if nudged off centre. There is structure beneath the friction — a careful calibration that allows intensity to build without excess. The result carries both clarity and abrasion, shaped with intent.

Her performances have unfolded across independent and institutional spaces, from Norbergsfestivalen and Mutant Radio to LYL Radio and Inkonst. In each context, her approach remains focused and exploratory. The room becomes a site for attentive listening — where choral memory, string discipline, and industrial pulse gather into a sound that feels precise, searching, and quietly confrontational.
