Fearless and genre-defying, Zoë Mc Pherson is a Berlin-based French-Irish multimedia artist whose work blends sound design, performance, installation art, and DJing. Together with long-time collaborator, the motion designer, director, and visual artist Alessandra Leone, they operate the interdisciplinary SFX label and deliver cutting-edge audiovisual experiences that bridge the rave and the art space.

The duo’s 2023 AV show Pitch Blender, based on Mc Pherson’s album of the same name, pushed cybernetic dancefloor experiments to their limits, earning acclaim for its intricate sound design, rave energy, and striking visuals. An ever-evolving show, their Intonal performance is sure to include elements of Mc Pherson’s newly-announced album uʍoꓷ ǝpᴉsdꓵ.

Mc Pherson has performed globally at venues and festivals such as Berghain, CTM, MUTEK Mexico, Rewire, and Nyege Nyege, and collaborated with artists like Jessica Ekomane, Ciarra Black, and Jay Mitta. Beyond performance, they have curated experimental events in Brussels and Kazakhstan, hosted workshops, and showcased spatial sound pieces at MONOM’s 4DSOUND system and Montréal’s PHI Foundation. Their boundary-pushing artistry continues to redefine the intersection of music, visuals, and performance, creating immersive experiences that leave an indelible mark on audiences worldwide.
