The Malmö-based artist and composer works at the intersection of sound, performance, and visual arts. Her practice drifts between the intangible and the tactile, conjuring sonic worlds that feel both cinematic and dreamlike – where layered narratives, fragmented voices, and shifting textures unfold in liminal space.
Tjäder’s releases have found a home on labels such as Country Music (SE), ArachHE (UK), and HTSU (NL), while her live performances have resonated through festivals and venues including Norbergfestival (SE), ICA (UK), Mayhem (DK), Inkonst (SE), and RSVP (UK). Recent exhibitions include Malmö Konsthall (SE), 3236RLS (UK), Kunsthal Charlottenborg (DK), and SKF/Konstnärshuset (SE).
As the founder of Scaling, an itinerant live series investigating the elasticity of sound in different environments, she continuously reshapes the boundaries of listening. She also holds a residency at Retreat Radio, where her eponymous broadcast operates as an ongoing experiment in sonic storytelling, recreated for her DJ set at Intonal.
