Following a sold out performance at Inkonst in 2020, this duo featuring one of Sweden's most celebrated trumpet players and one of its most respected electronic musicians returns for the world premiere of a new piece. The pair present In Cmin – a nod to Terry Riley’s iconic In C – a work in C minor.
While Tilliander and Kajfeš come from very different musical backgrounds, they have found in each other a like-minded curiosity alongside the desire to constantly search for new ways to challenge both themselves and the audience. In this analog meets digital, jazz marries electronic collaboration, Kajfeš's penchant for brass rhythm and pulse dovetails beautifully with Tilliander's experimentation and diverse electronic sound world.
