The world premiere of a new A/V work by the Swedish/Norwegian self-proclaimed “regression” band and the Danish video artist. 

The drums, machines, backing tracks, vocals, and chaos band have been releasing music since 2013, including four full-length albums on labels such as iDEAL recordings, Kontra Musik, and Kess Kill. Their squelchy, punky, noisy motorik is art happening in real-time. Tobias Toyberg-Frandzen is a photographer and multi-disciplinary artist based in Copenhagen, who has been creating digital art since 2001. 

Dischorealism was initially intended to be a conceptual work about “milk” with results that still evoke the sense of sucking the life out of somebody, exploitation, and over-consuming trust in any form. Dischorealism explores the cost of dual nature and circulates around themes such as friendship, sex, violence, and drug abuse. This new work will be performed live exclusively at Intonal, Ekko Festival in Bergen, Radar in Aarhus and at Norbergfestival during spring and summer 2023.
