Fiedel

The German producer, DJ, label-owner, and promoter is a resident of Berghain, one-half of beloved rave duo MMM (alongside Errorsmith), and one of the founders of the infamous Wax Treatment party.

After the Berlin Wall came down, the way was open for a fresh scene. In the early 1990s, Fiedel started DJing at Subversiv, and shortly after began his long-standing collaboration with Errorsmith under the name of MMM. Becoming a resident at the legendary OstGut club in 2000, he remained when they became Berghain. While his first solo tracks were released via the Ostgut Ton label, in 2012 he founded his own label Fiedelone.

Finding harmonies, connections, and contexts marks Fiedel’s musical work. The synthesis of opposition, the interaction and mix of styles and moods – without losing the storyline – makes the characteristic Fiedel sound. Led by history and the feeling of the moment to build something new, Fiedel surprises, taking us beyond techno clichés.
